Major reshuffle in Madhya Pradesh

New District Collectors also appointed

BHOPAL: The Madhya Pradesh Government on Wednesday ordered a large-scale reshuffle and appointment of new district collectors. The Badwani Collector, Vishwamohan Upadhyaya, has been transferred and posted as Director Narmada Valley Development Authority. The Secretary of the State Election Commission, Arun Tiwari, has been posted as the new Badwani Collector. Dewas Collector S.K. Mishra has been transferred as Sehore Collector, while Bhind Collector Sudha Chaudhary has been posted as Additional Secretary in the State secretariat.

On her return from deputation to the Centre, Smita Gate Chandra has been posted as Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Finance Corporation in Indore. The Additional Commissioner of Indore, Krishna Mohan Gautam, has been posted as Collector Narsinghpur. Mandsaur Collector Hiralal Trivedi has been appointed as Secretary of the State Election Commission.

Narsinghpur Collector Manish Rastogi goes as Collector Satna, Anuppur Collector D.K. Tiwari has been posted as Additional Commissioner Indore, and Deputy Secretary Ramkinkar Gupta has been posted as Dhar Collector. The Additional Excise Commissioner Gwalior, B.K. Vyas, Dindori Collector A.K. Rai, Sehore Collector Gulshan Bamra and Dhar Collector D.P. Ahuja have been posted as Deputy Secretaries.

Guna Collector N.K. Vyas goes as Collector Mandsaur; Satna Collector Umakant Umrao has been posted in the same capacity at Dewas; Seoni Collector G.K. Saraswat will be the new Guna Collector; the Aditional Commissioner Commercial Tax, Anil Yadav, has been posted as Seoni Collector; the Deputy Secretary Home, R.A. Khandelwal, has been posted as Collector Bhind; and the Chief Executive Officer of Dhar district Panchayat, E. Ramesh Kumar, is the new Collector of Dhindori.
