Traffic regulations in city

KOCHI: Traffic regulations have been imposed in the city in connection with the cultural rally to mark the inauguration of the 46th State Schools Kalotsavam on Thursday. The regulations will be in place between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Buses going towards north along the M.G. Road should divert from Ravipuram and take the Old Thevara Road and Foreshore Road to reach Menaka Junction. Those going towards south should use Chittoor Road.

Buses coming from Chittoor to Ernakulam should divert from Cemetery Junction and take the St. Benedict Road and North Railway Station Road to reach Town Hall junction, said a press release issued by the office of the City Police Commissioner. Parking will be banned from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. along the M.G. Road between Madhava Pharmacy Junction and Dwaraka Junction.

All vehicles going towards north along the M.G. Road should divert from Pallimukku Junction to Church Landing Road and from Ravipuram to Old Thevara Road after 2 p.m., the release said.
