Haj subsidy

The Prince of Arcot, Mohammad Abdul Ali, is absolutely right in saying that the Haj subsidy goes against the spirit of the shariah. Most Muslims don't realise that as per the Quran, they are under no compulsion to perform Haj if they cannot afford the journey.
