Tandon in Assam

Guwahati: Chief Election Commissioner B.B. Tandon arrived on a two-day visit to Assam on Thursday to take stock of the preparations for the coming Assembly election.

Mr. Tandon would assess the poll preparedness in northern and upper Assam areas during his current visit, official sources said.
