NEW DELHI: A 30-year-old man allegedly involved in about a dozen cases of cheating in Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh, was arrested by the Special Cell at Rithala in North-West Delhi on Wednesday. The accused, Trimula Shetty, was arrested when he was moving in a Mahindra Scorpio jeep stolen from Andhra Pradesh. During interrogation, he allegedly disclosed that during his stay in Mumbai, he came in contact with Ajay Patel and Asgar, from whom he learnt how to use the computer and the Internet. Subsequently, he collected the numbers of credit cards from various petrol pumps in Mumbai and used them to buy over 200 air and railway tickets through the Internet on fake addresses. He then sold the tickets to his clients at higher rates.
