Teachers to get higher pay scales

Pondicherry: Chief Minister N. Rangasamy said here on Thursday that orders were issued extending the benefit of higher pay scales to senior scale teachers working in government schools in the Union Territory.

The benefit of higher pay scale was extended to senior scale teachers on their promotion to the basic scale of next higher post after completion of 12 years of service.
