CHENNAI: Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Karnataka. The minimum temperature fell appreciably at one or two places over Tamil Nadu, fell at one or two places over rest Tamil Nadu, Kerala rose at one or two places over Telangana and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably below normal at a few places over Tamil Nadu, below normal at one or two places over rest Tamil Nadu, North coastal Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, Kerala appreciably above normal at one or two places over rest North coastal Andhra Pradesh, above normal at a few places over North coastal Andhra Pradesh, above normal at a few places over Telangana and were generally normal over rest of the region. Mandya recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 13 degree Celsius in the plains.

FORECAST (valid until Sunday morning): Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Frost Warning: Ground frost is likely to ccur at a few places over the hill ranges of Nilgiris district during the next two nights.
