AP Sports School in semifinals

ALUVA: Andhra Pradesh Sports School, Secunderabad, pipped Meenangadi Government HSS (Wynad) 5-4, via tiebreaker, and entered the semifinals of the Mar Athanasious Trophy Southern India inter-school football tournament at the Municipal Stadium, Aluva, on Friday. The teams were level 2-2 at the end of the regulation period.

The scores: AP SS, Secunderabad 5 (B. Satish, Sadiq Pasha; S. Prabhu Kumar, A. Mahesh, Syed Khaleel in tiebreaker) bt Meenangadi GHSS 4 (M.K. Dinakar, K. Manoj; M.K. Dinaker, P.M. Shejeer in tiebreaker).
