DPRO's office gutted

ANANTAPUR: Publicity material and film projectors were destroyed in a fire mishap in the office of the District Public Relations Officer here in the wee hours of Friday.

Inmates of a private girls' hostel housed in the first floor of the premises noticed smoke emanating from the office and informed the landlord.A fire tender was rushed to the spot and it took them some three hours to put off the fire.
