When 2 kg of cooked rice was left in the vessel, the students and cooks found a dead lizard in it. They stopped serving the remaining rice. The news spread in Rahamatpet area leading to parents rushing in to the school and making their children vomit the food forcibly. Some parents rushed 70 children to the hospital with the fear that the rice might have got poisoned. All the students were made to vomit at the hospital and sent home.
