Revision of electoral rolls in Belgaum

Belgaum: The Belgaum City Corporation will take up summary revision of electoral rolls with January 1, 2006, as cut off date for voters of Belgaum Legislative Assembly constituency (No.197).

Voters informed

The BCC has informed all eligible voters to submit applications for inclusion of names in electoral roll in Form No.6, objection for entries as well as deletions in Form No.7 and requests for corrections in Form No.8A at respective designated locations (primary schools and high schools).

The forms will be received from January 25 to February 24 between 10 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. (excluding government holidays).

There will be special campaigns on January 29, February 5, 11, 12 and 19 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Locations designated

The prescribed printed forms are available at designated locations, which include post offices.

Forms should be accompanied by proof of residence and proof of age, according to a release by A.A. Desai, Council Secretary and Electoral Returning Officer here on Saturday.
