Nagoor Babu enthrals Rotarians

VIJAYAWADA: Cine playback singer Nagoor Babu was at his best on Saturday night entertaining hundreds of Rotarians, who were attending the district conference of Rotary International district 3020, at the Andhra Loyola College grounds.

As part of the musical nite conducted by Mayur Orchestra's Mohammad, Nagoor rendered popular Telugu and Hindi numbers, such as `Devudaa, Devudaa... ' from `Chandramukhi', `Priyaa, Priyathamaa... ' from `Killer', title song of `Shankar Dada MBBS', Punjabi folk, and Ghazal singer Ghulam Ali's `Chupke Chupke... '.

Singers Gopika Krishna, Satyavani, Mallikarjun and Rasool Babu were also good. Mimicry by Jitendra, DJ Anand from Hyderabad and dancers from Geetanjali troupe were also impressive

Later, organising committee members Mohan Prasad, N. Eswar Prasad and Rotary Governor M C. Das felicitated Nagoor Babu.
