BELGAUM: The District Health and Family Welfare Office has cancelled the registration of three private hospitals for allegedly carrying out sex-determination tests in violation of the PNDT Act. According to an official release by District Health and Family Welfare Officer B.A. Patanshetty , two of the three hospitals Dr. Jambu Annappa Sadalge's Clinic in Bhoj and Dr. Guruprasad's Maternity and Nursing Home in Kagwad are in Athani taluk while Dr. S.B. Wadiyar Memorial Hospital is in Harugeri in Raibag taluk.
