KOLLAM: The demand to have a second entry point to Kollam Railway Station will be taken up for discussion in Chennai on Tuesday, when the Zonal Railway Users' Consultative Committee goes in session. This was announced by the committee member and National general secretary of the Mahila Rashtriya Janata Dal, Anu Chacko, here on Friday. Ms. Chacko made the announcement after visiting the Kollam Railway Station and holding talks with people concerned. She was also informed that platforms four and five of the station required urgent facelift. Because of the poor condition of the floors, even the wheel chairs donated by the Rotary Club could not be used. Ms. Chacko was accompanied by district president of the Rashtriya Janata Dal Mangad Santosh.
