VIJAYAWADA: Industrialist Chukkapalli Kusala Rao launched a portal krishnaprasthanam.tripod.com.

Krishna district unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) would run the portal with the details of a 35-day `padayatra' to be taken out by the party district secretary Uma Maheswara Rao on January 24. He said people could obtain information about the padayatra.

The portal would be updated regularly with latest information of the `padayatra.'

State committee member of the CPI (M) B.R. Tulasee Rao released an audiocassette prepared for the `padayatra.'
