Lacklustre performance in quiz

KOCHI: No student got an A or B grade at the quiz held at the Adhyapaka Bhavan. The competitions were for the Teachers' Training Institute (TTI) and the Pre-Primary Teachers' Training Institute (PPTTI) sections as part of the School Kalotsavam.

In the TTI section, where there were 11 participants, the top scorer with a little over 46 per cent secured C grade while in the PPTTI section, the top scorer among the eight participants secured a D grade with about 35 per cent.

Quizmaster Eipe Kuruvilla, former Publicity Officer of the State Council of Education, Research and Training, said that very few students managed to get about 50 per cent.

For the record, Ashna C.A. from Government TTI, Kannivayil, Kasaragod and Fausia R. from PPTTI, Alappuzha, won the competition in their respective category.
