Somnath's daughter teased in train
Bolpur (West Bengal)
: Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee's daughter Anusila Basu along with other women members of her cultural troupe were teased by unidentified persons on the Malda-Howrah Intercity Express.
According to sources Ms. Basu and her troupe were returning to Kolkata from Bolpur when some youth entered the first class compartment and started teasing them and asked them to vacate their seats.
She then called her father who was at Bolpur over the mobile phone.
"Unfortunate"
Mr. Chatterjee informed the railway officials who rushed to the compartment as soon as the train reached Guskara station. The youth apologised for their behaviour and Ms. Basu let them go, sources said.
In Bolpur, the Speaker described the incident as "unfortunate." — PTI
