We have sufficient strength to topple Congress Government and form a new one: BJP MLA

KODAIKANAL: General secretary of the Karnataka unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party K.S. Eswarappa expressed the hope that the BJP-JD (S) combine would form a government in the State on January 27 and H.D. Kumaraswamy would become the Chief Minister.

"It is certain that the Congress-led Government would fall," he said.

He was taking to mediapersons along with other MLAs at a resort here on Monday. The BJP-JDS combine plans to run the government by rotation. To avoid "disturbances" from the Congress, "we have come to Tamil Nadu," he said. On the former Prime Minister, Deve Gowda's plan to meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Mr. Easwarappa said every person has the right to meet anyone.
