Diabetic eye check-up

Padmabhushan Dr. M.C. Modi Charitable Eye Hospital has organised a free diabetic eye check-up camp on January 29 at the hospital premises on Dr. M.C. Modi Road, M.L.P. Layout. The camp, to be held between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., will include free blood sugar test as well. For registrations, call 23492233.

Ashvasan wing

The Ashvasan Foundation, a voluntary organisation serving the city's senior citizens, has built a 30-bed Ashvasan wing on the premises of the Asha Jeevan Home for the Aged. Governor T.N. Chaturvedi will inaugurate the wing on January 25 at Asha Jeevan Home for the Aged, 7th Cross, Kembathalli Road, Gottigere, Bannerghatta Road.

Parasailing camp

Venture Adventure Club has organised a free parasailing camp at Jakkur Aerodrome for poor children on Thursday from 7.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Those interested can contact the event coordinator, Chanda, on ph: 9243125033. Registrations open till January 25, 8 p.m.

Photo exhibition

India Tourism and the Union Ministry of Tourism have jointly organised a photo exhibition to commemorate the National Tourism Foundation Day on January 25 at Yavanika, Nrupathunga Road. The exhibition will feature photographs of Benoy K. Behl.
