WorldSpace appoints MD

BANGALORE: WorldSpace, satellite radio service provider, on Tuesday appointed Shishir Lall as Managing Director of its operations in India. Mr. Lall will spearhead the growth strategy that WorldSpace has drawn up for 2006. He replaces Deepak Varma who will manage business development activities. Prior to this appointment, he was President of Zip Telecom.
