School celebrates sports day today

KADAPA: Students of Pushpagiri residential public school staged an impressive pyramid show' at Seven Roads junction to welcome sportspersons for the National Under-19 Handball tournament slated from January 27.

School Director M. Vivekananda Reddy and show organiser Tenesh called upon people, students and youth to watch the tournament and encourage sportspersons. The school's 18th annual sports day on January 25 will be inaugurated by Kadapa Mayor P. Ravindranath Reddy on the school premises at Chinna Chowk.

Commanding Officer of 30 Andhra NCC Battalion and Regional Secretary of Children's Film Society J. Lakshminarayana Reddy will take part, according to a statement.
