Madikeri: Talur A.Kishore Kumar was on Tuesday unanimously elected president of the Madikeri Taluk Panchayat and Manoj Mandanna his deputy. Mr. Kumar won from Bettageri (general) and Mr. Mandanna from Bengur (BCM "A") constituencies in Madikeri taluk in the recent elections. Although their election was "unanimous", sources in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) said Mr. Kumar will make way for Napanda Kalappa after 10 months in office.
