Special express trains to Howrah introduced

This in view of the Mahamastakabhisheka

BANGALORE: In view of the Mahamastakabhisheka at Shravanabelagola, the South Eastern Railway and the South Western Railway will run special express trains on the Howrah-Mysore-Howrah route.

Howrah-Bangalore-Mysore weekly special (train no. 0803) will leave Howrah on Wednesdays at 3.45 p.m., arrive in Bangalore at 8 a.m. and depart at 8.45 a.m. on Fridays to reach Mysore at 11.45 a.m. the same day.

The first service from Howrah is on January 25 and the last service on February 8.

Mysore-Bangalore-Howrah weekly special (0804) will leave Mysore on Fridays at 8.45 p.m., arrive in Bangalore at 11.45 p.m. and depart at 12.15 a.m. to reach Howrah at 3.45 p.m. on Sundays. The first service from Mysore is on January 27 and the last service on February 10.

Guwahati-Bangalore-Guwahati weekly express specials have been extended for two months.

Bangalore-Guwahati weekly special (0201) will leave Bangalore at 11.15 p.m. on Wednesdays and arrive in Guwahati at 2.30 p.m. on Saturdays.

The extended service from Bangalore will commence on February 8. The last service will be on March 29.

Guwahati-Bangalore weekly special (0202) will leave Guwahati at 11.15 p.m. on Sundays and arrive in Bangalore at 2.05 p.m. on Wednesdays.

The extended service from Guwahati will commence on February 5 and the last service will be on March 26.

The interactive voice response system for the lines 22200971, 22200972 and 22200973 has been withdrawn.
