Staff Reporter
BANGALORE:
The Bangalore police have arrested two more alleged Lashkar-e-Taiba operatives in connection with the December 28 attack on the Indian Institute of Science campus here.
The police identified the two as Nizamuddin (24) of Rajappa Layout and M. Noorulla Khan (25), an electrician. Both hail from Chintamani in Kolar district. They were arrested at Hesaraghatta, near here, on Sunday.
According to the police, the two attended meetings held here and were preparing to carry out militant activities in and round the city.
During Sunday's arrest, the police recovered two tin bombs, a country-made revolver, three electronic detonators and a book with telephone numbers.
