Guwahati:
Eight persons, including a militant of the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA), were injured in blasts triggered by the outfit in the State on Tuesday.
An ULFA militant and three civilians were injured when a grenade exploded in the militant's hand near a private hospital close to Ganeshguri flyover in Guwahati on Tuesday night. The condition of the ultra is stated to be critical. The police said the grenade exploded as the militant was about to lob it on a patrol party on the busy Guwahati-Shillong Road.
Earlier in the day, the ULFA triggered a blast on the premises of the circle inspector in Kamrup district.
