Addressing a public meeting after inaugurating a Kabaddi tournament for tribal students at the naxal-affected Chandampet village on Tuesday, he said, "The attempt of the Police Department to create awareness among tribals is a praiseworthy job. With collective effort by all departments we can wipe out such inhuman practices." In some pockets of Gujarat, one of the progressive States, baby girls are being killed, according to the officer.
