L&T-Samsung consortium wins ONGC order

MUMBAI: A Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) and Samsung Heavy Industries Co. Ltd. (SHI) consortium has bagged a Rs. 2,117 crore order from the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for new booster compressors and process facilities platform located off Indian's west coast. The contract is for the Vasai East Development project of ONGC, located about 80 km west northwest of Mumbai, and it will be executed over the next two years, L&T said in a statement here on Wednesday.
