BANGALORE: The Nasdaq-listed SiRF Technology Holdings Inc. has acquired Impulsesoft Private Limited, the Bangalore-based Bluetooth audio solutions provider for original equipment manufacturers and embedded software firm, in a cash and stock deal worth Rs. 67.50 crore. "This acquisition is a strategic part of our vision to enhance the value of solutions we deliver to our customers. In a world of increasing wireless connectivity, GPS and Bluetooth are becoming common functions in all our target markets," said Kanwar Chadha, founder and Vice-President, Marketing, of the California-based SiRF, a provider of GPS-enabled silicon and premium software location platforms.
