Belgaum: An impressive attestation parade by new recruits was held at Talekar Drill Square of the Maratha Light Infantry Regimental Centre (MLIRC) here on Wednesday. According to a press release, a batch of 224 recruits of Group 1/2005 was attested on the occasion. Brig. Ranjit Misra, Commandant, MLIRC, Belgaum, reviewed the parade. An oath taking ceremony was held. In his address, Brig. Misra reminded the new recruits of their regimental heritage and services in protecting the interests of the country.
