KURNOOL: Officers XI and Press XI played a friendly cricket match in connection with the Republic Day function here on Thursday. Collector Vikas Raj led the officers' team to a comfortable victory over the Press team, which was captained by Ankam Ravi. District Judge G. Krishnamohan Reddy, Joint Collector Ramsankar Naik, Superintendent of Police B. Malla Reddy and other officers represented the officers' team. The friendly match was accompanied by hilarious running commentary by the members of the press and officers. District Judge gave away the trophies to the winners and runners-up. Bharat Agro Agency, local dealer of Mahindra tractors, sponsored the match.
