Rangasamy unfurls flag on Assembly premises

Pondicherry : Chief Minister N. Rangasamy unfurled the national flag on the premises of the Assembly on the 57th Republic Day on Thursday.

Speaker M.D.R. Ramachandran, Ministers, MLAs, Chief Secretary C.S. Khairwal, Secretaries, IG of Police P.R. Meena and staff of various departments were present.

Mr. Rangasamy drove to the Assembly after witnessing the celebrations at the Indira Gandhi sports complex. On the premises of the Central Excise Commissionerate on the Beach Road here, Commissioner K. Sekar unfurled the flag and addressed the officers.

At PCC office

At the Pondicherry Pradesh Congress Committee office here, its president P. Shanmugham hoisted the national flag.

The Puduchery Munnetra Congress president hoisted the flag on the party's office premises here.
