Dog show on January 29

Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Kennel Club is organising a dog show on the SNR Sons College Groundsin the city on January 29 from 9 a.m.

``Paratha Sekar Chatterjee of Kolkatta and R.Nagendran Reghuraj will be the panel of jurists and more than 350 dogs and pups are expected to take part in the show,'' said President of the Club Vikram Damodaran and Secretary B. Arthanari Pradap.

Ms. Anitadunne from the U.S. would be the judge for the special show, exclusively organised for the Great Dane breed dogs. Rare breeds like Bull Dog, Bull Mastiff, Boxton Terrier, Bull Terrier, and American Cocker Spaniel would participate in the show besides sniffer, tracker dogs and canine sleuths from the Tamil Nadu Police.

The prize-winning dogs in each category would get crystal trophies. Around 20 stalls would display and sell products for pets.
