Thiruvananthapuram: Governor R.L. Bhatia has said the goal of the Government is to make the State an economic powerhouse by 2010 In his address to the people of the State on the occasion of the 57th Republic Day parade here on Thursday, he said the Government was committed to pursuing the 10-point development agenda presented by President A.P.J. The Government has been working in tandem with non-governmental organisations for building houses for the victims. He expressed concern at the alarming number of road accidents in the State.
