Emission check-up camp

MANGALORE: The Dakshina Kannada District Level Task Force on Pollution has arranged for a vehicle emission check-up camp for government vehicles on Friday at the District Armed Reserve (DAR) grounds here.

The camp has been organised as per the decision taken at a meeting of the task force held on December 7, according to an official release here.

The Deputy Commissioner will inaugurate the camp.

It will function from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the release added.

The release urged heads of government departments in the district to get their vehicles checked free of cost.
