CHENNAI: The special revised voters list for the 14 Assembly constituencies in Chennai Corporation will be released on Friday. The list for the respective constituencies will be displayed in the polling centres, post offices and Corporation Zonal offices from Friday up to February 11 barring Saturdays and Sundays and Government holidays between 10 a.m. and 5.45 p.m. People who have moved into an area recently have been asked to notify the change of address in Form VI or 8 A and apply for form 7 to delete their names in the list in the area they previously resided. Bulk applications will not be received from anybody for any reason whatsoever, a Chennai Corporation press release said. The public have been requested to make use of this opportunity to make the necessary additions or deletions in the voters' list. If voters have shifted their residence after the door-to-door enumeration was done last year, they have to fill up form 6 and avoid a situation where they do not find their name in the electoral list. The public have been requested to check if their names are on the voters' list between Friday and February 11. For any queries, the public can contact Chennai Corporation Election department at phone number 2536 4148, the press release added.
