Tributes paid to senior journalists

HYDERABAD:
The Veteran Journalists Association paid tributes to the former Deputy Editor of The Hindu , R.J. Rajendra Prasad, and former Editor of Visalandhra and Soviet Land, B. Mallikarjuna Rao, at a meeting held here on Thursday.
President of the association G.S. Varadachary recalled the humane qualities of the two senior journalists and said that they had set an example of discipline and devoted work in the field of journalism to be emulated by the younger generation.
A condolence resolution was passed deeply mourning the death of the two journalists and expressing sympathies with their bereaved families, a press release said.
