Man dies in accident

BANGALORE: Gowraiah Shetty (58) of Nelamangala was killed when a lorry hit a motorcycle on which he was riding pillion in Yeshwanthapur traffic police station limits on Wednesday.

The accident occurred near RMC Yard bus stop on Tumkur Road.

The motorcycle rider, Shankar (23), who was injured, has been admitted to hospital, the police said.

The Yeshwanthapur traffic police have registered a case. The lorry has been seized.
