Elephant to be sent to Delhi Zoo

NEW DELHI: An elephant, which was allegedly ill-treated by its mahout, is now headed for the Delhi Zoo after the People For Animals organisation took up the issue. Forest Department Director A K Acharya on Thursday said the elephant would be sent to the Capital's zoo after the mahout is produced before a magistrate. - PTI
