Renowned specialists in the fishery field from the country and abroad will discuss seafood related topics of contemporary interest and make presentations during the sessions.

The show is a biennial event jointly organised by the Kochi-based Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) and the Seafood Exporters Association of India (SEAI).

The first India International Seafood show was held in 1973 at Mumbai.

This is the fifteenth in the series. The main objective is to create a platform for exhibiting the capability of Indian fishing, processing and allied industries for producing and marketing quality products for sophisticated markets like the U.S., European Union, Japan etc.

It will also be a meeting place for the buyers and sellers of marine products for renewing contracts and also for negotiations.
