CSB scheme for students

THRISSUR: The Catholic Syrian Bank has launched a new savings scheme for students.

Launching the CSC Students Support Savings scheme here on Wednesday, Auxiliary Bishop of the Thrissur Archdiocese Mar Andrews Thazhathu stressed the importance of safe banking practice and student participation in community development. Under the scheme, students can open accounts without any remittance. There is no stipulation regarding minimum balance. ATM cards will be issued to students who open accounts. N. R. Achan, CSB chairman and chief executive officer, presided.
