FOR A CAUSE: Ramesh Aravind shares a lighter moment with schoolchildren during a rally in Hubli on Friday.
HUBLI: "I love Hubli, what about you," film star Ramesh Aravind asked schoolchildren here on Friday. "We all love Hubli," they replied in one voice and reiterated their commitment to make the city beautiful. The occasion was the inauguration of a civic rally organised by `Children's Movement for Civic Awareness' (CMCA). The awareness campaign taken up under the aegis of the Hubli-Dharwad Municipal Corporation saw a huge turnout of schoolchildren. "Treat your city as your home. Like the Army that is there to protect the nation, you build a `Kids' Army' to save your city. Have `Jala Sene' (Navy) for taking care of water conservation and pollution, `Bhoo Sene' (Land Army) for conservation of environment and solid waste management and `Vayu Sene (Air Force) for preventing air pollution. I will be the general of the Hubli Kids Army," he said. The actor is the brand ambassador of CMCA.
Later, the actor interacted with schoolchildren and signed autographs.
