Lt. General visits Kochi and Ezhimala

KOCHI: Engineer-in-Chief (E-in-C) and senior Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Engineers Lt. General Ranjit Singh visited Kochi and Ezhimala from January 24 to 27. This was the General's maiden visit to the Southern Naval Command. Other than being the head of the Military Engineer Services (MES) and the troops of the Corps of Engineers, he is also a Principal Staff Officer to the Chief of Army Staff and has an advisory role to the Ministry of Defence and the three services on all works and engineering matters.

During his stay here, he visited the naval academy project site at Ezhimala.
