ALAPPUZHA: A man was killed when a bus hit his motorcycle on National Highway 47 at Mayithara junction, near Cherthala, on Thursday midnight. The deceased, who was riding the two-wheeler, has been identified by the Cherthala police as C. Biju, 32, of Kanichukulamgara in the district. He was working as an excise guard in Palakkad. He died on the spot.
