Three attempt suicide

KURNOOL: A trader, his wife and 18-year-old daughter attempted suicide at Nandyal on Friday. Alleged harassment by some Congress leaders to force the victim to quit a post in Bhadravati Bhavana Rushi Devastanam committee was said to be the reason for the extreme step. Following a declaration by the victims, the police registered a case five persons. - Staff Reporter

ANANTAPUR: Ten persons were sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment by the Additional District and Sessions Court at Hindupur in the district on Friday. The case pertained to March 2001 when one M.
