CISF personnel donate blood

CHENNAI: Around 100 Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel donated blood at a camp organised on Monday at the CISF Unit Lines in Chennai Port Trust. It was inaugurated by Anurag Sharma, Inspector-General, CISF South Sector Headquarters, in the presence of V. Kamaraja, Deputy Inspector General of South Zone Headquarters.

The personnel were from various units in the four southern States. They are involved in providing security to vital installations, PSUs, air and sea ports and were mobilised for the camp by Mr. Kamaraja.

The camp was organised to show the social commitment of the personnel, officials said.
