STAR ATTRACTION: Allu Arjun and Genelia in `Happy'
Happy ( Telugu) Cast: Allu Arjun, Genelia, Manoj Bajpai, Ramaprabha Director: Karunakaran Directed by Karunakaran and produced by Allu Aravind with Allu Arjun and Genelia in the lead, the film justifies the title in all aspects. From day one of the shooting till the release, the film had evoked lot of enthusiasm among the audiences. Bunny (Allu Arjun) is an orphan who aspires to complete his MBA. He works as a pizza delivery boy to meet his educational expenses. Madhumati (Genelia) is the daughter of a prominent leader called Suryanarayana. For Madhu's father, nothing is above than his caste and caste politics. Madhu's mother wishes that she become a doctor at any cost and takes a word from Madhu before her death. One day, Bunny runs into an altercation with Madhu and accidentally a love letter of his friend finds its way into Madhu's book. Her father who notices the letter decides to marry her off to a police officer (Manoj Bajpai) of his caste. Bunny who shows interest in Madhu learns about her goal to become a doctor, plans to spoil the alliance. He lies with the police officer that he is in love with Madhu following which the former cancels his alliance with Madhu. Irked over this, Suryanarayana fixes Madhu's marriage with his friend Subbarao's (Tanikella Bharani) son. Learning this, the ACP gets Bunny and Madhu married. Will the marriage last, does Madhu accept Bunny as her husband, is she able to complete her education, these questions form part of the climax. Movie Market
