New Delhi: Ace marksman Abhinav Bindra finished fifth by shooting an aggregate of 698.7 in the men's air rifle event at the Munich Air Gun shooting championships in Germany. Abhinav was third in the qualifying round where he scored 597, however he could not sustain the momentum in the finals and slipped with 101.7. Austrian Thomas Franik shot a score of 702.1 to clinch the gold. Hungarian Peter Sidi (700.4) and Ukranian Artur Ayvazyan (700.1) bagged the silver and gold respectively. Gagan Narang finished 10th with 595, according to information received here. UNI
