Coimbatore: India Tourism Festival, Travel Expo 2006, will be organised at Velan Hotels, Tirupur, on February 3 and 4 and at Hotel The Residency, Coimbatore, on February 5 and 6. The Tourism Festival would have Malaysia as partner country and Mauritius as preferred destination. Tamil Nadu would be the host State with Kerala, Pondicherry and Jammu Kashmir as partners, said a release from the organisers, Adwise Events .
Exhibitors
ITF would showcase number of holiday opportunities, properties, getaways, airlines and cruises. The exhibitors include Tourism Malaysia, Taj Group of Hotels Resorts and Palaces, Tamil Nadu Tourism, Kerala Tourism Development Corporation, Pondicherry Tourism, Jammu and Kashmir Tourism, Star cruises, Air Mauritius, Paramount Airways, Club Mahindra, Sterling Holidays and Wayanad Tourism Organisation represented by a host of properties from Karnataka and Kerala.
Entry free
The ITF is open free to the public at both the venues on all the days and throws open ideas and opportunities for investment as well as enjoyment for the tourists.
