The Supreme Court verdict blaming the Tamil Nadu Government for the death of 42 persons in a stampede at a flood relief centre clears the doubts in people's minds. If only adequate arrangements had been made and information provided through the media, the tragedy could have been avoided. The Government should henceforth organise relief carefully.
