Cadre urged to prepare for `prolonged struggle'

SRIKAKULAM: Speakers at the Samara Bheri (beating the battle drum) programme of the TDP, who included party MP, Konjarapu Yerrananidu, district unit president, Tammineni Sitaram and secretary, Kalamata Venkataramana, ZP chairman, Y.V. Suryanarayana , party MLAs--Kimidi Kala Venkata Rao, Gouthu Shymasundar Sivaji, Kambala Jogulu—

and former Minister G. Appala Suryanarayana mounted a scathing attack on the `corrupt Congress' Government and called upon the cadre and people to prepare for a ` prolonged just struggle'.

The programme, held at the Singupur, continued till late night on Saturday.

Mr. Naidu alleged that under Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy reign corruption has become rampant.
